Hugh was an avid reader and great story teller and he made a lasting impact on many lives and he will be dearly missed.īeloved husband of the late Marilyn (nee Shepard) loving father of Debbie (Kevin) Hill, Laura (Joe) Occhipinti, Tara (Marc) Tonti, Trish Brown, Becky (Jay) Fisher, and Tess (Jeff) Pisarski dear grandfather of Jeremy Hill, Joshua Hill, Jessica (Matthew) Crawford, Brandon Occhipinti, Joseph Occhipinti, Ashley (Zach) Davis, Connor Tonti, Deven Brown, Jordan Fisher, Brooke Fisher, Cali Fisher, Brady Pisarski, and Cooper Pisarski proud great grandfather of River, Camden, Jackson, Ryker, Rynoa, and Ridley devoted dogfather (and lawyer) to his “baby girl”, French bulldog, Lola. With his amazing charisma he was not at a loss for friends. He passed away quietly at home surrounded by the love of his six daughters and his grand-dog, Lola (his baby girl) as he entered into the Kingdom of Heaven. Hugh was a man of integrity who loved his family more than anything. He was a devout Catholic and pro-life advocate. Hugh will be forever remembered as a generous man, with a witty sense of humor, who had the most incredible gift of gab. O'Connor, 86, of Elgin formerly of Machesny Park, passed away Monday, April 12, 2021.
